Black Sheep Coffee are looking for a Franchise Operations Manager to join the Operations team in London to support our ambitious growth plans. The Role…

Reporting directly into the Operations Director you will be accountable for all franchised shops acting as a business development manager supporting their sales growth, operational performance, marketing, people development and succession planning, health and safety and customer experience.

  • Act as the main point of contact for all franchisees and conduct quarterly business review meetings
  • Understand each sites individual sales patterns and have a plan in place to achieve growth for each
  • Keep informed of local competitors, new openings, their opening hours and trading patterns to develop plans to counter any impact
  • Take ownership of the P&L and make time to understand reports, the impact on profitability
  • Own and drive the communications cascade to all franchise partners
  • Ensure that you have a strategy for continuous improvement across all stores
  • Act as a Mystery shopper with surprise visits across all trading periods (Morning, Afternoon, Evenings & Weekends
  • Foster a strong sense of teamwork across the team & wider support office ‘one team one dream’ values across Black Sheep Coffee
  • Encourage franchisee partners to build engagement between their teams and customers through the Black Sheep app and loyalty schemes

About you…

  • An innovative and conceptual thinker, passionate in all that you do
  • An exceptional communicator and team player
  • Experience of working across and motivating multiple stakeholders, and managing multiple stores
  • Project management skills
  • Strong commercial understanding
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within the specialty coffee or hospitality sector
