Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum

Location: Central London - Plus travel when needed for openings and training related duties.

Black Sheep Coffee are looking for an experienced Trainer to join the Training team to support our ambitious growth plans. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to get stuck in and further develop their career in a rapidly growing business.

There will also be opportunity to travel across the UK to assist and lead various training activities.

The Role…

Training

• Deliver engaging and informative Inductions throughout the week at our Training Centre in London
• Support in the delivery of ad-hoc training, working together with the whole Training team to support in house training and Franchise Kick-off Training
• Work with the Training Manager and HR team to develop clear Career Pathways, and support in the continual development of role specific manuals
• Facilitate training for the Management Development Programme
• Content creation and development, keeping key shop KPIs in mind
• Be our LMS (Learning Management System) expert, developing the platform and utilising all key features
• Deliver and support with Coffee training, by collaborating with Coffee Coaches
• Deliver training in an engaging and effective way that is pitched appropriately for the target audience and ensures a positive return on investment.
• Collect and collate feedback, using results to ensure training is fit for purpose and reporting
• Encourage a culture of learning in all that you do, being a true Black Sheep brand ambassador

Operations

• Work with the Operations team to provide structured and engaging pre-opening training for New Shop Openings (NSOs)
• Undertake training needs analysis to evaluate performance levels and identify gaps in selling and service capability across stores
• Support with 1-2-1 coaching activities during operations, working with the operations team to develop their team.

People

• Support with various Employee Engagement activities, including but not limited to, the BSC WoW-cher programme, quarterly socials, and competitions
• Create social content to be shared throughout the business, that highlights career opportunities to the wider business
• Provide support to the People Team in growing a dynamic culture across the Support Office and in stores.
• Able to provide feedback to and coach our leaders in order to embed our behaviours and customer service guidelines into their day to day activities

About you…

This is a busy role and you will need to use your previous learning and development experience and show initiative in order to be successful.

Essential requirements – Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• ESSENTIAL: Previous experience in a training or learning and development role is essential
• ESSENTIAL: Previous experience working in QSR, hospitality sector
• DESIRABLE: Coffee knowledge
• You are super organised, proactive and solutions-focused
• You are a people person and love working as part of a team
