Position Overview:
Black Sheep Coffee is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Franchise Operations to lead and support our franchised sites. The successful candidate will oversee and manage a team of three Franchise Operations Managers and serve as the primary contact for franchisees post-opening. This role is operations-focused, ensuring that our franchised locations uphold the highest standards of excellence, align with company values, and achieve business
Responsibilities:
-Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of three Franchise Operations Managers, providing guidance and support to ensure their success and development.
- Franchisee Support: Act as the main point of contact for franchisees after their shop opening, addressing any operational issues, concerns, or queries promptly and effectively.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure that all franchised locations adhere to Black Sheep Coffee’s operational standards, policies, and procedures. Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of franchised sites, analyzing key metrics and providing actionable insights and recommendations to franchisees to drive sales and profitability.
- Franchise Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Facilitate regular communication and feedback channels.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve challenges and conflicts that may arise within franchised locations, ensuring quick and effective resolution.
- Strategic Initiatives: Work closely with the Operations & Development Director to develop and execute strategic initiatives that enhance franchise operations and drive business growth.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the Head of Franchising, who is responsible for the onboarding of new franchisees, ensuring a seamless transition from onboarding to operational support.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in franchise operations management or a similar role within the hospitality or retail industry.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing operational challenges.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel regularly to franchised locations as required.
