Role Overview
Black Sheep Coffee is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Learning & Development Content Creator to support our international markets, focusing on the USA and GCC regions. This role is integral to our global training strategy, ensuring the creation of engaging, high-quality digital learning content that aligns with our brand values and operational standards. The ideal candidate will be passionate about driving employee development through innovative training solutions, supporting our international teams, and ensuring a consistent learning experience across all markets. Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Development (USA & GCC)
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging learning content tailored to the needs of our international teams, with a focus on the USA and GCC markets.
- Support the creation of digital learning materials for all product launches, ensuring teams are equipped with the knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional service.
- Develop bespoke training materials and plans for franchisees, supporting new store openings and market entry initiatives.
- Utilize various multimedia formats, including e-learning modules, video content, infographics, and interactive guides to enhance the learning experience.
- Ensure all training materials align with Black Sheep Coffee’s established ways of working and tone of voice from the domestic market, maintaining consistency across all regions.
- Consider regional cultural differences while upholding the brand’s standards of excellence.
- Learning Platform Management (Mapal / Flow)
- Manage and update content on our Mapal / Flow platform, ensuring accessibility and relevance for international teams.
- Optimize the user experience by maintaining a well-organized content library, supporting localization efforts for our global audience.
- Track and analyze training engagement metrics to assess the effectiveness of content and identify areas for improvement.
- Training Needs Assessment
- Conduct training needs assessments for the USA and GCC markets, gathering feedback from stakeholders to develop targeted learning solutions.
- Collaborate with regional managers and the Learning & Development Manager to identify skill gaps and develop tailored content to address them.
- International Onboarding & Franchisee Support
- Create onboarding materials for new hires and franchisees in the USA and GCC regions, ensuring a smooth transition and consistent brand understanding.
- Develop bespoke franchisee training programs for new store openings and entry into new markets, focusing on company culture, product knowledge, and operational excellence.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in learning and development, leveraging new tools and technologies to enhance training delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on the localization of training content and enhancing the overall learning experience for international markets.
- Project Coordination & Collaboration
- Work closely with the Learning & Development Manager and cross-functional teams to align training content with business goals and international market needs.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content that supports our growth in the USA and GCC.
Qualifications
Desirable but not essential:
- Proven experience in content creation, instructional design, or learning and development, particularly in international markets.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and multimedia content development.
- Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS), particularly Mapal / Flow, for content management and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging, easy-to-understand content for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and video editing tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative, with a passion for empowering others through learning.
- Experience in cross-cultural communication and sensitivity to regional differences, particularly in the USA and GCC.
