Position: Accounts Payable & Treasury Manager

Position Overview:

Black Sheep Coffee is seeking a motivated AP & Treasury Manager to lead our dynamic Accounts Payable team. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure that all incoming invoices are handled as part of a centralized process while working with the wider Finance team and the business to design and implement global processes. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role is a key position within the Finance team.

Responsibilities:

· Oversee the end-to-end procure-to-pay process (Accounts Payable).

· Manage relationships with suppliers, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely payments.

· Handle cash flow forecasting and monitor liquidity across multiple bank accounts.

· Review funding needs daily.

· Conduct regular bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate allocations in the GL.

· Assess current processes and create a roadmap to move toward automation and overhaul legacy manual processes.

· Partner with Heads of Departments, including the Managing Director, to ensure alignment.

· Manage banking relationships.

· Develop a vision for the Accounts Payable team and track performance against KPIs.

· Line manage one junior team member in the Accounts Payable team (the Finance Coordinator).

Requirements:

· Finance Qualification: ACT, ACCA, or similar.

· Prior experience in a similar role is desirable.

· Treasury management experience, including liquidity and cash flow management, with regular cash flow forecasting.

· Proven ability to successfully manage one or more direct reports through significant periods of change.

· A track record of coaching and retaining a high-performing Accounts Payable team.

· A strong background and previous experience in system migrations and implementations.

· Experience working with senior stakeholders in a business.
