Position Overview

As Procurement Coordinator, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement across Black Sheep Coffee’s construction supply chain, covering US and EMEA markets. Based in our Miami office, you’ll play a central role in optimizing CAPEX investments by negotiating favourable terms, sourcing cost-effective solutions, and standardizing materials, finishes, furniture, and equipment across all new store builds and refurbishments.


Reporting Directly to the Head of Construction & Facilities you will work closely with the US Construction & Asset Manager, franchise partners, and senior stakeholders including the Co-Founders & Co-CEOs, and COO, ensuring Black Sheep Coffee leverages its size and global presence to secure best-in-class agreements and maximize commercial value across all markets.


This role is pivotal to ensuring that our stores are delivered with quality, consistency, and cost efficiency as we continue to scale globally.


Key Responsibilities

  • CAPEX Optimization: Demonstrate continuous improvement in construction-related CAPEX, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or brand standards.
  • Global Agreements: Develop and manage supplier agreements across US and EMEA to capitalize on Black Sheep Coffee’s global scale and purchasing power.
  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for building materials, finishes, furniture, and equipment to ensure value, quality, and reliability.
  • Standardization: Support the development and maintenance of global procurement standards to ensure consistency across markets while accommodating regional requirements.
  • Value Engineering: Partner with the Construction & Asset teams to propose alternative solutions that enhance cost efficiency while maintaining design integrity.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the UK& US Construction & Asset Manager, Franchisees, and wider business functions to ensure procurement solutions support successful store delivery.
  • Market Insight: Monitor global supply chain trends, risks, and opportunities to continuously refine sourcing strategies.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Head of Construction & Facilities and senior stakeholders on performance, savings achieved, and opportunities for improvement.


Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years in procurement, supply chain, or construction purchasing, ideally within retail, hospitality, or F&B.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder engagement skills. Proficient in Excel and procurement software/tools.
  • Mindset: Commercially savvy, detail-oriented, and resilient in driving change across multiple markets.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with construction supply chains, CAPEX management, and global sourcing best practices.
