Role Overview:

Join Black Sheep Coffee as Franchise Sales and be at the forefront of expanding a dynamic franchise network. This pivotal role is designed for a results-driven self-starter with a deep understanding of sales dynamics within the franchise sector. The position is centred around a commission-based salary structure that rewards outstanding sales performance and successful franchise development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively generate new franchise leads through strategic lead generation methods including targeted email marketing, networking events, and direct outreach.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with potential franchise partners, serving as the primary point of contact and guiding them through the exploration and onboarding process.
  • Conduct comprehensive initial meetings with potential franchisees to present the Black Sheep Coffee franchise opportunity, address inquiries, and assist them in the decision-making process.
  • Prepare and present essential documentation and business proposals to potential franchise partners including site search and introductions to funding partners.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to facilitate a seamless integration process for new franchisees.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor research to ensure competitive advantage in franchise terms, fees, and support services offered.
  • Represent Black Sheep Coffee at Discovery Days, trade shows, and other relevant industry events to promote franchise opportunities.


Requirements – Skills, Qualifications, And Experience:

  • Demonstrated success in high-stakes, commission-based sales roles, with a relentless drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred; substantial sales and franchise experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Thorough understanding of franchise law, regulations, and compliance issues.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and close deals.
  • High level of self-motivation and organization, with a proven track record of operating effectively within a competitive environment.
  • Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office, and other sales enablement tools.


Additional Qualities

  • Proven track record in sales and franchise development, with a strong focus on lead generation and deal closure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred, though substantial industry experience can substitute for formal education.
  • Extensive knowledge of franchise regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively negotiating and building partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as a self-starter, consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
