Black Sheep Coffee seeks an Operations Manager to spearhead our entry into the UAE market.

The ideal candidate will leverage their vast operational knowledge and skills to execute our strategic plans effectively.

Their primary role will involve implementing the business plan's operational aspects, optimizing financial and social outcomes, and meeting operational, customer experience, and financial goals.

Role Description

Your role will include but is not limited to…

  • Create and deliver an Operational strategy that supports the rapid growth of the business
  • Responsible for leading the operational rollout of all UAE NSOs, liaising with the relevant departments to ensure deadlines are met, and ensuring Grand Opening procedures are conducted for all NSOs
  • Manage operational functions within budget and comply with Health and Safety legislation and Brand standards
  • Work with your team to ensure sales targets are not only met but are exceeded
  • Lead cross-department projects to realize cost and efficiency improvements and evolve operational approach across new territories
  • Identify customer needs and issues to drive growth through new value-added services Business partner with all functions (Finance/IT/Supply Chain/People/Property)
  • Analyze data to develop solutions and projects for performance improvements
  • Collaborate with HR to align and implement culture and People strategy, while ensuring compliance with core HR policies and procedures.
  • Develop clear KPIs for team and wider shop Management team to meet within clear timelines and to deadline


Essential: A minimum of 15 years experience working in F&B sector, with at least 5 years of that experience gained while working in the UAE

Desirable: Experience in setting up and managing coffee franchise shops

  • Commercially astute, financially literate, and able to show good commercial judgment

  • Demonstrated track record of high-performance standards used to deliver committed objectives
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the business
  • Reliable and accountable, with a flexible approach to work that ensures deliverables are met within the defined timescales
