Position: Finance Coordinator

Position Overview:
The Finance Coordinator will support the finance team with the accounts’ payable function. This role will focus on processing invoices, reconciling payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. The role is ideal for an entry-level candidate who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in developing a career in finance.
Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Receive, review, and process invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Payment Preparation: Support in preparing electronic transfers, checks, and other payments.
- Vendor Communication: Maintain vendor relationships, handle inquiries, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Expense Reporting: Assist in managing the staff expenses system, ensuring timely processing and reporting.
- Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements regularly and ensure accurate allocation to General Ledger codes.
- Period-End Support: Aid the finance team during month-end close, including journal entry postings.
- Document Management: Send remittance advices and support documentation as needed.
- Data Entry and Filing: Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and support administrative tasks within the finance department.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Accounts payable experience, ideally within the hospitality or retail industry.
- Experience with software tools such as Fourth and Xero preferred but not essential
- An organized approach and a strong attention to detail.

- Proactive and able to work independently on assigned tasks.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Team-oriented and willing to assist colleagues as needed.
